  Our family just took over 95% of the motel for a wedding this past weekend. The rooms were nice, comfortable and spotless. We had an additional add on room for a twin bed our son slept In which was perfect for all 3 of us.
  There were fresh flowers in our rooms from the forest behind the hotel. Joyce and her husband could not have been kinder and went out of their way to make sure we had everything possible for this fun but chaotic weekend. It's not too often we go to stay someplace and the front desk answers with our name or they remember your name when they see you. A big plus which makes you feel welcome and valued.
  It's a small friendly family operated lodge which I just loved! Will stay there again.

  Brought back memories of traveling with my parents back in the 60's. It was a pleasant suprise. I was so thrilled that they are pet friendly. The staff are so gracious and kind. Big room with all the comforts of home, and just a few miles to Big Trees State Park. Snowshoe Brewery is across the street and they serve scrumptious food.
